Resources for State-Wide Contacts & Support Group Facilitators
- When grandparents begin caring for their grandchildren full-time, they have many questions and concerns. Three main areas of concern are how they can cope emotionally and physically; the legal relationship between them and the grandchildren; and how and where to find services and resources such as childcare, nutrition assistance, and medical coverage. The resources in this section have been produced to help grandparents get over that first hurdle so they can concentrate on the task of providing a safe and loving home for their grandchildren.
